Full renovation to a waterfront home

An existing single storey 80s brick veneer dwelling required a substantial renovation. While the existing layout was simple it didn’t take advantage of the prime waterfront location.

A new double garage was added with internal access, the ground floor was reconfigured and opened up to orientate the living spaces towards the rear views. The new first floor contains the bedrooms with main bedroom capitalising on the view.

This project won the 2018 Building Designers Association of Australia [BDAA] category for ‘Additions and Alterations >$500K’.
